Gethin Jenkins is to become the latest Wales international to head to the Top 14 after agreeing a two-year deal with Toulon.

Jenkins: Has agreed a two-year deal with Toulon

British and Irish Lions prop Jenkins follows Luke Charteris and Aled Brew in announcing he will be playing in France next season - with fellow Wales stars James Hook, Mike Phillips and Lee Byrne already plying their trade across the Channel.

Jenkins, who had also attracted the attentions of Bath, has turned down a 12-month contract extension at the Cardiff Blues to make the switch.

And the 31-year-old will join a star-studded line-up at Toulon, with fellow Lion Andrew Sheridan moving from Sale in the summer, while Jonny Wilkinson, Matt Giteau, Bakkies Botha and Simon Shaw are already at home at the Stade Mayol.

Jenkins, who joined the Blues from the Celtic Warriors in 2004, has been capped 84 times by Wales - with another five Test appearances coming for the Lions.
